I Give Up

Hey TB fam!

This month we’re chatting about a new song called Giving Up.

This song was birthed in a moment I had a few years ago when I was feeling completely overwhelmed trying to build our ministry and pursue the vision in my heart.

I said to God “I really want to just give up…”

And I felt God’s response was, “Great! Finally! Now we can make some progress…”

This wasn’t the response I was expecting. But it shook me. I really felt like in that moment God wanted nothing more than for me to give up…because in my desire to do good I’d stepped beyond His grace.

So if you feel in any way overwhelmed, pressured or tired, then this Torch Talk is for you!
